Happy Friday everyone! It's Spring and it seems a lot of us have been suffering through some non-Spring weather this week.
I wanted to share this beverage with you in hopes it would make you feel like you're on a tropical island.
The beauty of this drink that we named the Tennessee Tango is you can leave out the vodka and install enjoy the great tropical flavors!
Fill a tall glass with crushed ice, add 1 ounce vanilla vodka, then fill the glass with banana nectar, add a splash of cherry juice for a little color and garnish with pineapple chunks and a cherry and enjoy!
Have a great weekend!

The drink looks good and refreshing. My husband has been sick this past week with a head cold and my son has been having his allergies bothering him big time. I am ready for some nice warm weather to just stay with us already...Have a great weekend too!!!
I will take the "Tennessee Tango" with the vodka, please.... I love learning about to cocktails that I can serve at the beginning of a dinner party. AND... I already need a tall one of these because it has already been one of those "miss" days with my 17 year old son!! TEENAGERS!! Thanks for sharing and really awesome photos.
That's a fun drink and I'm glad to leave out the vodka. Although chasing a 2 and 4 year old all day 24/7 for the next 4 days of spring break at the beach, I may need to start drinking. 4 year old peed the bed last night and got in the bed with us at 4:00am and 2 year old got up this morning at 5:30 am, it's going to be a long day :)
Happy weekend!
pusnuse= verification word!
Oh, I know this would make me feel like I was laying on the beach, just watching the waves....ahhhhh..

That will certainly chase away the winter blahs. It looks very refreshing.
That's exactly what I need as I sit here watching it snow! Maybe I can make one of those and pretend I'm on a desert island somewhere!

Oh yeah, this looks perfect! I'll at least make my first one with the vodka :-) I might have to look for little beverage umbrellas when I am doing errands later.
Have a great weekend, Katherine!

Now this is my kind of drink! It sounds wonderful.
I could go for one of these right now! TGIF!
Okay, I'm weird and everything-I hate banana flavored anything. Think another fruit juice would give me good results?
mmmm... looks so refreshing and delicious! Love to try new drinks!
I'm so behind on my blog reading... and posting. My little guy is teething and he's been so fussy this past week... I could use a tall refreshing drink right about now!
This makes me want to put my toes in the sand and kick back. I didn't know there was such a thing as banana nectar. Sounds kind of decadent. It's at the top of my shopping list. Delicious drink, with vodka, please!
